About the Artist:
Brenda Sharpe spent her childhood and early adult years in the Georgian Bay area of Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. She was awarded first prize in an art contest for the town of Parry Sound in grade school. A trip to Europe at the age of 16 was a source of inspiration. In Paris she had her portrait done in charcoal, at Montmarte, giving her an appreciation for academic drawing. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She worked fro 7 years in Commercial Design throughout Canada. She held positions corporately and did freelance work.
